What is Acne?


Small holes on the skin surface are called pores. Acne occurs when these holes, or pores, become clogged. There are hair and sebaceous glands in the follicles where the pore opens. The oil (sebum) secreted by this sebaceous gland makes the skin soft. In some cases, blockages may occur in these oil glands.
