Gynecological Diseases and Hormonal Disorders

Diagnosis and Treatment of Hormonal Disorders There are some symptoms of hormonal disorders in women. Excessive hirsutism, hair loss, acne, lack of sexual desire, and irregular menstrual cycles are the most common symptoms. Hormonal disorders and hormone diseases can cause conditions such as some ovarian cysts, uterine cancer, and infertility in women. For this reason, it is very important to detect and treat it early. Treatment methods can also be solved by prescribing medical drugs. If you suspect hormonal diseases, it is recommended that you be examined by a gynecologist as soon as possible. Bartholin Cyst Bartholin glands are glands located in both parts of the vaginal opening that provide lubrication during sexual intercourse. In some cases, lubrication does not occur and the liquid goes back to the glands. This causes inflammation in the glands. Sometimes, lack of vaginal cleaning, sometimes chemical or traumatic situations cause the formation of this cyst.

Treatment varies depending on the course of the disease. Although in some cases home treatment methods such as antibiotics or sitting in hot water are sufficient, in some cases the inflamed area may need to be drained or surgically cleaned. Ovarian cysts Some cysts formed in the ovaries affect women's fertility. The incidence of ovarian cysts is high. The most common cysts are simple cysts, dermoid cysts, cysts seen in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and chocolate cysts. Myoma and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome are among the most common gynecological diseases in women.

Myoma and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome are health problems that can lead to infertility. Fibroids can be defined as benign, non-cancerous tumors found in the uterus. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) causes ovulation disorders, ovarian enlargement, hormonal disorders, and menstrual irregularities. This disease is a disease that is frequently encountered in women and can cause infertility in expectant mothers. PCOS can be considered an important ovarian disease for women. High insulin levels, high androgens and a family history of POS are among the important risk factors for POS. During the treatment process, lifestyle changes (diet and exercise) and regular use of birth control pills are effective in some cases for myoma and PCOS. However, in serious cases, different treatments are preferred. In myomas, follow-up may be required in some cases and surgery may be required in some cases. Chocolate cyst Chocolate cysts are a disease that occurs when the endometrium layer in the uterus begins to grow in an area outside the uterus. It is one of the diseases that can affect fertility in women. It may disrupt the ovarian structure. They are known as non-cancerous cysts and have a very low risk of becoming cancerous. It may cause infertility. It can damage the ovaries. Surgical removal of cysts larger than 4 cm will be an effective treatment method.
