Hüseyin Önder Kaya was born in Izmir in 1975. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Izmir. He completed his medical education at Izmir Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine between 1992 and 1998. In 1999, he started his specialty training in General Surgery at Izmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital. He completed his specialist training in 2004 and started working at Private Batman Hospital. He completed his military service between 2008-2009.
