Born in Kars in 1975, after graduating from Kayseri High School as the 100th year valedictorian, he graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. In 2002, he received his general surgery specialty from Bozyaka Izmir Training and Research Hospital. In 2003, he worked in breast and endocrine surgery at John Radcliffe Hospital at Oxford University in England for 6 months. He completed his military service as a specialist physician at Tatvan Military Hospital for one year. He performed the first endoscopic procedures in the region and general surgery surgeries, including cancer surgery, at Dalaman State Hospital and his own clinic for five years until 2010. After 2010, he was a general surgery specialist at Ortaca Yücelen HOSPITAL. He works as a medical director and chief physician. He has made oral and written presentations at many international and national congresses and courses, and published scientific studies in journals. He has also worked as a book writer and editor.
He has performed approximately ten thousand endoscopic and colonoscopic procedures without complications.
He is one of the first physicians to apply advanced laparoscopic training and procedures in Europe. Closed gallbladder surgery, laparoscopic colon surgery, stomach cancer surgeries, obesity surgery, metabolic surgery, thyroid and breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, hemorrhoids, fistulas and fissures, pilonidal cysts, current treatments laser etc. are successfully applied. At the European Surgery Congress, he defined and applied the intraintestinal stent method as the Boz technique for the first time in the world for multiple intestinal stenoses due to radiotherapy. For fifteen years, the transanal stent method has provided hope, especially for patients with rectal cancer, by reducing the ostomy procedure in rectal cancers by 80 percent.
Approximately 6 thousand major surgical procedures such as obesity surgery, endoscopic gastric balloon and gastric botox, diabetes surgery, thyroid cancer surgery, gallbladder surgery, breast surgery, oncological surgery etc. have been successfully performed on our Turkish patients and, for the last 12 years, on our international patients.
He is a member of the Turkish Surgical Association, Metabolic Surgery Association and Turkish Medical Association.
